Join us for an afternoon of exploration as we dive into a variety of strategies to rethink student engagement in your classroom. The sky's the limit in this event, where we'll look at how to get started with using Story Maps and Geographic Information Systems (GIS), graphic novels, creating documentaries, gamifying your course, using spider web discussions, and putting our heads together to find ideas that will work for you as a humanities teacher.  Plan to come away from this workshop with goals that will get you started next fall, along with practical tips, tricks, and troubleshooting experiences.
