Intentional Impact and Authentic Learning in action. Marie Hubley Alcock will draw from her Solution Tree book Quest for Learning: Maximizing student engagement with co-authors Mike Fisher and Allison Zmuda to show what game design in the classroom really is. You will collaboratively explore game design lenses that bring their contemporary teaching and learning practices to a whole new level— literally. Participants will “level up” as they are invited to collaboratively assess games they already play and pitch a new game through several lenses, sharing their creations and creating an action plan for taking lenses back to their schools.
